This is the hard part, as there is a floating exchange rate between the Yen and the dollar. So I do two things: one is dividing share price (5,500 Yen) over the exchange rate, the other is simply to take yesterdays closing price in Nasdaq (which is usually the same as the opening price in Japan) and add or subtract the percentage change in Japan.
