Are you sure, No more DBCC short shares are available... That brings up an interesting thought... Assume a limited number of shares. All get borrowed and shorted, thus sold to new longs. A new batch of shorts show up and borrow the shares again, selling them to a new group of longs, etc. etc. etc. Is this possible? Are the shares somehow marked for life as already shorted and not to be borrowed? Not likely. Can we see 1M of stock shorted 4M times?
