It's been my experience that when a company misses, especially when expectations are to beat the estimates by a wide margin, it's best to stand aside and let the stock fall. Many professional investors, mutual fund and institutional traders, as a rule, sell quickly after a miss.
Unlike yesteryear, markets react very quickly, expect a spike down tomorrow. a rebound then a retest in the coming weeks. This is where a TA program can really help.
