Hoped for a NAVR pop this morn with INTC/YHOO earnings and had placed a market order the 12th. Cancelled outright at 9:26 with a call to my broker. OK, the signs spelling danger, I then put a limit in at 14 3/4 and got a fill on 10% at this, and the rest at 15. Fine, I'll sit tight for awhile...look for the close. Up on my account screen at 3:30 pm POPS:: I'd sold all at 11 3/4 to my shock!!! I played the facts to my broker and they came back three hours later reporting the MO had been retrieved...I'd been saved $10,000...they had to yell a bit. Moral: Be very careful on those last minute changes...they can cut either way...of course my broker had a vested interest... they had reported a cancellation on the MO hours before...and my account was oversold of stock I didn't have. They did have time records tho...and so did I. By the way, thanks to all, overall up over 1000% in the last 2 months since following the TM thread. G
