Ibbexx...Actually it may be more like a wedding where there is only one woman left on the island. It was hardly unexpected, and was almost inevitable considering LU's needs. The road to a successful union is lined with potholes and I still maintain that the probability is that it will be difficult in the short run. Of course you may well turn out to be right, but if this is the case it will be the exception rather than the rule. Eventually it will make LU stronger. In any case this is such a potentially big market that there is room for several companies. I suspect CSCO, NT, and LU all have the muscle to be viable participants. and that an investment in any will pay off well. I don't expect there will be an INTC or MSFT level of dominance in this field. That said, IMHO the size of LU and it's huge P/E ratio makes it a less attractive investment than CSCO, IMHO
Do you think any of your favorite stocks (i own many of them also) represent good buys at present prices? I'm thinking of adding to my MSFT and CSCO Lucius
