Metromedia Fiber Networks announced more blockbuster 15-year "dark fiber" deals in the past month with competitive local exchange carriers. Strangely, despite its 820% run-up in the past year, this owner of hundreds of thousands of miles of fiber-optic networks on both coasts is covered by just three brokerage analysts; expect the stock to really fly if any analysts pick it up over the next quarter. It's expected to grow 140% next year, and it just turned cash-flow positive on the strength of an accelerating list of licensing deals
