thanks for the thoughtful responses to my message.

I think I've seen written somewhere the symptoms of someone who is "addicted to trading." If I can find them, I'll post them, if someone else finds them, I hope they'll post them.

I don't want to give the impression I think online trading is a bad thing. I've been profiting and having fun the last few months. I suspect (though my opinion is largely uneducated) that online trading is mostly a positive thing, and just like with gambling, will only be a problem for a small percentage of people.

The danger will be particularly for the inexperienced investors right now who are breaking the old maxim: "Never confuse wisdom with a bull market." A lot of people are going to get hurt with some (but not all!) of these internet stocks, IMO.

As an investing pup, I'm not sure I know what you meant here.
