With the exception of about 20 minutes that I went to the post office at around noon today, I watched and/or listened to CNBC all day today while working (in fact from 5:10AM till about 10 minutes ago at 10:PM). There was absolutely no mention of such idiotic rumor as IBM buying Sun. Unless they mentioned something about such idiotic rumor during the 20 minutes that I was gone I think the person posting such a rumor was simply hyping the stock.
