Hi TJ,

Really enjoy the thread! What I noticed about yesterday was the tremendous amount of money that moved into U.S. bonds...and how quickly. It just reminds us wee people that they are not at all asleep at the wheel, and the investment community is still multi-tiered. They are ready and able to park their money at a seconds notice. We are not quite so facile. (Sometimes we need to shovel the driveway, or steal a kiss!)

I think that this craze of buying infinitely above book value ought to be accompanied by a great deal of vigilance. The rewards are tremendous right now. The success stories are incredible. Wow! But like all gambling, the risk increases proportionately to the reward!

I am excited, but very cautious about this market--and am not keeping anything overnight. BTW, (I hope this has not been covered), but is everyone aware of E-Trades move toward offering IPO's to the general public. It was in yesterday's National Post (Canada), and I don't have it handy right now.

Apparently, Brazil accounts for 20% of U.S. exports. I wonder what would happen if that Brazilian buying dried up?!

Good trading for everyone today! It will be really interesting to see if DBCC attracts the proportionate exuberance we have come to anticipate...or if there will be a more subdued and careful trading pattern...
