Research Post: While we are sitting around waiting for something to happen: Let's review how much gold might be at the Catan vein as per press release-MDIN is very close to production on this vein.

Density of quartz= assume 5000 lb/m^3
Assay value=30 grams AU/ton(assay numbers are increasing with depth)
Vein size: 2800 meters long(strike length based on surface observations) x 2.5 meters wide(latest number I heard) x at least 300 meters in height/depth(very conservation-likely goes much deeper).
(The vein crosses a ridge at an angle to the ridge-and at an angle to the vertical-it is seen at low elevation at the North side of the ridge-at the ridge top-and at a low elevation at the South side. Aidits are presence at the north side, the top, and on the south side.

So we have: 2.1 million cubic meter of minerlization or 5.25 million tons of rock.

This works out to be 5.5 million ounces of gold. I had made a couple of mistakes in my last attempt at quantification of the resouce potential there.

To give some perspective-this one vein likely holds more gold than all the reserves that Dayton has at Andicollo! Neat hey?
