Today.com Announces Revolutionary New Website
Development Technology in Launch of Law.com
Website

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 1999--Today.com, Inc. (OTC BB:TODY -
news) announced today its participation in the creation of the first web site using its new, revolutionary WebWareâ„¢
technology.

The site, www.law.com, the Internet's ''Portal to the Law'', was launched to the public today and is the first to showcase the
proprietary WebWare technology developed by Today.com. This unique website development software provides dozens of
different software modules for content management, commerce, community, personalization, and site promotion in a single,
tightly-integrated package. WebWare will provide the highest quality of Internet site with many more features and services than
were economically feasible when the technology had to be developed independently. In creating the law.com website,
Today.com used a beta version of WebWare which included its proprietary TemplateServerâ„¢ technology; this technology
allows easy input, delivery and management of large amounts of data, such as the over 30,000 pages of legal information
provided by law.com. This means that organizations wanting to develop industry-standard, high-quality websites, such as
America Online (Nasdaq:AOL - news), Yahoo.com (Nasdaq:YHOO - news), or major e-commerce sites, such as
Onsale.com (Nasdaq:ONSL - news) or E-bay.com (Nasdaq:EBAY - news), will be able to do so far more rapidly and
cheaply, and with significantly reduced maintenance overheads.''

Nathan Gwilliam, president and chief executive officer of Today.com, stated: ''We believe that the WebWare and
TemplateServer technologies will change dramatically the way that websites are presently being created. WebWare is being
developed to be ''An Internet Portal in a Box''. At a time of unprecedented growth in Internet commerce and use, WebWare
will be the first 'one-stop-shop' software solution for organizations trying to build specialized portals to the web, such as
law.com. We project that version 1.0 of WebWare will be released early in the second quarter of this year, and we expect to
see major enhancements of the technology as development continues. TemplateServer dynamically creates and modifies data,
saving WebWare clients incredible amounts of time and expense.''

The law.com website is a service of Law.com, LLC. The website provides the first Internet ''Portal to the Law'', where visitors
can access all aspects of information about the law and legal resources. It provides expert legal advice, an easy starting point
for legal searches, legal news, and several other law-related services.

Charlie Davis, co-founder of law.com, stated, ''With more than 30,000 pages of legal information, law.com is the authoritative,
central location for legal information on the Internet. The ease of use and maintenance that are possible because of the work of
Today.com provide us with great flexibility and control over site content and presentation while reducing our costs significantly.
The general public and legal community will benefit enormously from the site's information and features.''

Gwilliam concluded: ''We are honored to release our WebWare technology with such a prestigious project and company as
law.com. The availability of the WebWare technology will allow for the development of premier Internet sites in a fraction of
the time and at a fraction of the cost of what it is currently costing websites to build their technology independently. WebWare
will allow for a higher quality of Internet site with many more features and services than were economically feasible when the
technology has to be developed independently. WebWare will help to attract more visitors to an Internet site, motivate the
visitors to return more often, and generate more revenue from each visitor. WebWare will allow Internet sites to focus on
running their company and generating revenue instead of having to keep up with the rapid pace of Internet technology.''

Today.com is a Phoenix-based Internet software development company that is launching the Internet's first complete software
solution to create top-level Internet sites. The WebWare technology, to be marketed as a ''portal in a box'', is intended to be a
one-stop solution for clients seeking development of premier Internet websites.

This release may contain forward-looking statements, made pursuant to the ''safe harbor'' provisions of the Private Securities
Litigation Reform Act of 1995, that involve risks and uncertainties which might cause the actual results to differ materially from
those projected in any forward-looking statements. Factors which could affect results include the development and introduction
of competitive technologies, the market awareness and acceptance of the Today.com technologies, the overall market demand
for Internet services, the presence of technologically-inferior products and services which are priced or promoted to compete
with Today.com services, the ability to attract and retain technical personnel, and the ability of the company to protect its
proprietary information.
