Accelr8 Offers Y2K Software and Services on the Internet
DENVER, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelr8 Technology Corp. (Nasdaq: ACLY) launched today a virtual year 2000 factory on its Web site, accelr8.com, providing a real-time self-diagnostic environment for determining an organization's Y2K readiness, regardless of where the organization is in the Y2K process. The company may contract with Accelr8 for assessment, remediation or IV&V services beginning at $.20 per line of code or purchase Navig8 2000 Enterprise, the third generation of Accelr8's software tool, to continue its in-house efforts.

Analysis Service: The client submits code to Accelr8 while simultaneously tendering a credit card or purchase order. Accelr8 generates a report that lists all date locations or provides confirmation of apparent compliance. Using this data, the client can either buy Navig8 2000 Enterprise for its own remediation effort or contract with Accelr8 for complete Y2K servicing.
IV&V Service: Code is submitted to Accelr8 that is deemed remediated and ready for test by the customer. Accelr8's engineers supply a report identifying any remaining non-compliant date code and states its location. The client then uses the results for additional in-house repairs or outsources the work to Accelr8 prior to the test phase.
