(Nasdaq:BIPL - news) Thursday announced that its BCA Division, located in West Chester, Pa., has been re-certified as ISO 9001 compliant and has also received certification against EN46001, the European quality standard specific to medical devices developed by the European Committee for Standardization and approved by the national standardization bodies of nearly all European countries. Anyone that knows about ISO certification knows this milestone is not easy to pass. EN46001 is nearly impossible. Oh, and guess what, BIPL is the only company manufacturing blood group serology products in the U.S. to have achieved both certifications. What do you think that is worth? I say a buck, all by itself....
