Thanks for the correction. I am not a very technical hardware guy ;o). But, if you say that they "it was my understanding that EMC buys run of the mill drives, but puts a bunch of them together" and then you say "I also heard they ARE almost 100% in partnership with Seagate for the drives", that would almost seem to be a contradiction! Anyway, when I worked at IBM six months ago in SSD, I know that EMC was one of their primary customers!
