Burt you need to be a little more careful in how you assign probabilities ;-)

If you set p=.5 it is like you are flipping a coin and the long run probability will settles in around 0 (given wipeout set at -1 and not wipeout set at 1).

However, this cannot be the case. For example the DOW has been around for over onehundred years. It started at some low number and stand at over 6,500 today. Therefore the market long term has clearly demonstrated a positve bias. It indicates that the prudent investor can play the game and come out ahead in the long run.

Thus Investors should take your bet and they will be more than happy with their ROI or ROCE.
