I do not know about the figure, I must apologize. What I do know is that Peru is one of the cheapest places to mine in the world. Take a look at Barricks Pierina deposit for an example.
As far as other mining companies, just about every major in the world has some sort of deal in Peru as well as numerous juniors. It is a very friendly place to do business at the moment.
