The Globe & Mail did a feature article on Newbridge this morning.
Nothing really new except the last sentence was "Northern Telecom president John Roth confirmed last month that the company had held discussions about buying Newbridge before it negotiated its $7.6 billion purchase of Bay Networks".

If Matthews would not sell out to Nortel then, why would he now consider a deal with others? Is the higher price now tempting him?
