Rob, I too am Canadian. I love & appreciate a lot of things about this Country, but the Gov't is not one of them. Everything that we have to be thankful for in this Country is despite the Gov't , not because of them. Thanks to Martin, good progress has been made in lowering the deficit, but you can be sure that Chretien & his cronies are just itching to loosen the purse strings. If the currency mkt sees any evidence of a lessening of resolve, the C$ will head back down. If you like the $ prospects , the easiest way to play it is to buy futures. For $400 U.S. ( I think) you could control $100000. Good luck. James
