Of course you're right. But I've let myself get sucked back into the fray. Now someone's altered Dr Bill's post #250 (catch it before it goes away) and I'm afraid he thinks it was me. Sorry; persiflage is okay, altering people's posts isn't. Though Christ knows I can sympathize with the culprit. Insufferable smug people, wow, the Boy Wonders.

My pride doesn't come into it. What I think of as the spirit of SI (uh-oh, getting sappy again) does, I suppose, though Bill and Joe are into Biz Bigtime, apparently. Wonder where they live. Wonder whether they've bought a stake in the new "business", and whether they feel that gives them more rights than are due to other mere members.

Be on the alert: they're tracking us on other threads to which we contribute. One post of mine to Penni has already been reposted at Improvers. Fine, I've nothing to hide.

Really. SI was never like this before. Flames, yes. But this kind of stuff, no. And all so utterly humorless.
