I read the article. Still have some concerns. Increased competition, for example. Shifting to a broader customer base than just the AS/400 also puts JDEC into far more direct competition with SAP, ORCL, et al. and puts enormous pressure on pricing. The company's management admits this aspect but hopes to offset pricing with volume. (I am not making this up!) The midmarket focus is not enough to offset this kind of pressure.

Meanwhile, on the last earnings conference call, the company noted that visibility has dropped markedly because of shorter selling cycles. You have to wonder about the effect of all these people who are new to the salesforce, too new to generate much in the way of revenue.
