Oh Alexa! I know exactly how you feel! I've been berating myself ever since I got off that thread for getting sucked into such a sick exchange. Like you, I think I couldn't believe anyone could get so nasty and mean about something and I couldn't keep from responding. I really did think he might be very young-although that's insulting to my sons who would never behave like that--He certainly has added nothing of intelligence to the discussion. My older son lectured me on lowering myself to Joseph's level. He said he stays away from people like that online. It is very curious that Dr. Katz doesn't react to such inappropriate comments. Anyway, I think I'll ignore anything that doesn't come from the system itself on this matter. There was something disturbing about the whole thing. It serves as a reminder that we are not as safe as we might think from instability and cruelty even here. I forget that I'm not talking to only my friends in our living room, but to 90,000 individuals, some of whom are only too eager to tear others up to make themselves feel more important.
