Bonnie, I like European debt for the conservative and Asian debt for the gutsy. The only decent fund is First Australian Prime, which is not really the area of my main focus in a debt recovery. Dreyfus Strategic Govt. may be o.k., but I haven't checked it out in a while. However, given the volatility of the over-printed dollars, I have to look in this area again. MB
