Good rundown; thank you. Now I'm going to check Wall Street Access. Agree on SE Online. I like the software & most of the time it runs well. The beta 5 is a bust at the moment. Its capabilities are great but the data comes in patchily (in my case, not at all for the indices, which I can't function without). I gave up after 3 days in Dec, tried again 2 days ago & wiped it out after a couple of hours. So no analytics on the intraday yet. I'd be happy with SE & good execution.
Wondering, if you don't use MB for orders, why to keep it at all. BTW there are some big complaints on the MB thread re: their servers on the 12th. It was a bad day for all online brokers, even the best. The thread also gets into bitter arguments about order routing, so it sounds like taking that step up brings a lot of new problems. d.alexander
