Rex, Nice going on the EPS. My own amateur estimates for sales were also 12.1 million, although I got to that number through a product mix completely at odds with what actually came out. Because of the higher percentage of NVSRAM and RTC sales, I was surprised to see COGS come in lower than my estimates. Great for them to be cutting costs, but puzzling. The earnings release is a classic piece of minimalist shareholder communication... I am also surprised to see the flattening of sales in Battery ICs for the 4Q, and backlog down for the first time in many quarters. Especially with OEMs reporting good laptop sales for the fourth quarter, as far as I can tell. Then again, the Dell website is running a "get your Dell laptop within a week" banner, so maybe all is not well. Maybe this time the headline numbers and growth will be good enough to catch the eyes of the street! DP
