there was a couple of positives from the cc. (a) they've tweaked their manufacturing processes (including substrates) which will help bring down costs going forward, (b) two new customers are testing 4.3 and higher gigs, one of which is rumored to be Seagate and will be announced in the upcoming weeks (current quarter we're in), (c) without the two new customers they expect unit sales to increase next quarter from last quarter's 7.6 million (d) average price per unit was $9.06 which is greatly improved over previous quarter when 6 million units were sold, (e) they have an unexpected strong cash position, (f) inventory turns were improved from last quarter. earnings should greatly improve going forward given restructuring charges behind them. this should be enough for the pigs on the Street, should-be will-be wanna-be is whimsical lately.
