> So HELO is Dell to PLT's Compaq,

I respectfully disagree. It took me a while to figure out what exactly I liked about PLT, and in the end it came down to this -- PLT has years of experience making headsets; they have a storehouse of knowledge about acoustics in their employees. This asset does not show up on any balance sheet but it is there all the same. I think this makes PLT a company that sells *knowledge* along with each and every headset, whereas HELO deals more in a commodity. I think this is reflected in PLT's profit margin (18% to HELO's 3.6% per Yahoo). To use your analogy (perhaps misuse!), if HELO is Dell I would call PLT Intel. Intel is selling chip-making knowledge and has the margins to show for it, Dell is selling a commodity. OK, that's a stretch but it gets the idea across.

Please correct me if I'm wrong! I am not married to this stock or to my ideas. This is just my understanding of the situation and if HELO is a better buy I'm all for it.

Peace,
Mr Bones
