You want *buzz*, D. Noss? You'll find it here: (Off-Topic)

The essential characteristics you seek are *buzz,* *momentum* and *timeliness.* Thus, the answer is

CBS SportsLine (NASDAQ: SPLN), $28.50

When you think about it, the pattern of Internet investing represents a "food chain." The herd is moving down a list of sectors, pouncing on the leaders in each. Sports is next. SPLN is the *only* Internet sports "pure play." Even more important, the Internet investor base is broadening out. There is a prodigious amount of cash available. People who missed the first wave are now asking their brokers what Internet stocks they should buy. Mr. & Mrs. America and Joe Sixpack will invest in SPLN because it's "safe" (co-branded with, minority owned by, CBS) and they can relate to it.

Great growth prospects, high momentum, low float, modest market cap, Keith Benjamin (sell-side analyst, BB Robertson Stephens) "Buy" rating, CBS affiliation (CBS on a roll!), runs Michael Jordan's cameo Web site, e-commerce initiatives, etc.

SPLN's sister company is CBS MarketWatch. MKTW IPO debuts Friday. Hugely oversubscribed, IPO pricing raised twice, enormous media hype. SPLN will get great visibility in this updraft.

Here are links to the ClearStation SPLN chart, MarketGuide profile and Keith Benjamin's site. Resistance at about $40, then the moonshot. Potentially, the same trajectory as GNET.

Do your homework, buy only quality, and plan to be patient. You will be rewarded. (And you will owe me!)

BAM

P.S. Full disclosure: I'm long SPLN (and GNET).
