I think it's going to take much more than press releases to significantly move this stock. What we need are positive earnings with an upside surprise, along with a few announcements of sizable contract awards from recent design-in's. From the information that I can find I think that new contract announcements are almost a given. Earnings growth could be another story looking the history of this company, however it seems like management is serious about getting the financials in order with the aggressive cost cutting moves initiated late last year. Maybe Nord or someone else can offer some ballpark earning forecasts.

I made a fairly large investment in this company last November. I'm probably more fortunate than many fellow shareholders in that I'm currently slightly above my purchase price. However these small moves aren't exciting. I'm going to be patient with Spectrum but I'm looking for upside earnings, high growth rates, and a stock price by year end at a minimum of $6 and hopefully $10. I think this is very possible if management exercises their business plan. Anything much less than that by year 2000, and I'll probably move on the greener pastures with at least part of my investment.

What outlook on Spectrum do the rest of you have on this thread???
