OT Amsterdam (e-commerce): Entrespect (yuck yuck, you owe me a call there.) We're in e-commerce derivative plays for now. Mercury Interactive (e-commerce testing) The internet infrastructure folks, csco, pmcs, vtss, unph. maybe (god forbid I might be drinking internet koolaid....) AOL at the right price. Direct plays i guess would include bvsn, but i know little about it. i don't think there really is a complete solution that has crossed the chasm in e-commerce so for now it's the tools. it's like playing the dbms vendors before packaged apps 7 years ago in client/server. i wonder if when this internet frenzy blows up whether that takes down all of tech and creates a buying opportunity? Is 1999 going to be as violent as 1998? worse? always nervous.... P.S. where is TTF in this discussion? Life's no fun since his consulting gig's T1 went away. :-( TD
