No we never had a gas refrigerator. I don't recall us even owning a car until perhaps when I was about ten.

Hey, at least I did not turn it down. My wife's uncle once told her cousin to turn down the stereo and when he did not, the uncle went up to his room and threw it out the window...the window was closed, as well.

You see, I don't do that stuff. I'm a sensitive guy who tries to "reach out", to "communicate", to the little so and so.

Besides, I'm half deaf from driving my mother nuts the same way.
