DoubleD - I think they have an absolute rock solid case about a President who tried to hide the details of an extramarital affair that the Senators will be absolutely bored hearing about by the end of Saturday . I still predict that a group of Senators even Republicans will get together on Sunday and simply say in some way, we don't want to hear anymore about this.

In the meantime, if anyone can get to work, through this snowstorm here in the east, the buyers will stay away tomorrow just in case there is a surprise and noone will want to be in the market while this goes on throughout Saturday, DOW will fall another 200 or so tomorrow. So on Monday, more rational minds and thoughts will prevail and dismiss this as soapopera trivia, the market will roar back, state of the union will go ahead, and hopefully we will hear no more about this.

We'll see though. Just like the markets, you never know what surprises are coming.

Certainly noone was flocking off to buy gold as a safe haven today as a hedge. Should be a good day to have buy stops in on Monday as we begin to see the defense perspective on this. If this Larry Flynt comes out with some or all of his additional 8 who he is going to expose as being on this managers committee, this is going to be quite a spectacle to get sorted out.
