Hi Bill ..

Yesterdays action on the S&P500 was slanted by the actions in the internet stocks. These were slammed down hard at the open. Since most of them are on the NASDEQ the action showed up there much more that on the NYSE.

Tonight there has been downgrades of that sector, news stories about brokerages and market maker houses taking a progressively more dim view of on line trading of these issues. Waterhouse has decided to not allow trading of them on line at all.

Now .. when word goes out that internet stock trading on line fills can, and has been, allowed to slow down or stop .. wellll there's that sector.

RMBS warned tonight down > 20 points after hours .. there goes the SOX.

What about banks ??

Let me ask it this way .. Which sector can you see taking the lead up in the AM?
