It is my understanding that for SEOL 5.0 to work properly you MUST have IE 4.01

That's why I had to wait to install ver 5.0, because my Compaq had
IE 4.0 and there was a big problem with Compaq PCs and IE 4.0. Compaq technical people were WORTHLESS, when asked if Compaq users in the risky "Home Base" class were allowed to upgrade. Finally I made a full back up of my hard disk and just tried it myself. Unlike the upgrade to 4.0, the upgrade to 4.01 went without destroying the files and data on the hard disk. I permanently removed the "Home Base" feature first.
