Yes - but at the time $4.00 was way above the market price - I can't remember but think it was a premium of something like 60% (could be less) over the average trading for a prior period. It's hard to know how this will shake down - the Lundins are in a highly promotional mode now - to scare up a higher bid from anyone. The difficulty for a bidder is they know that Barrick is there ready to top a bid - so a bidder has to decide at the outset IMO that they have to be prepared to go against Barrick - it's a lot of time and effort and money to make only a one shot bid. dd
