I'm writing a paper on momentum investing, send me your email address, and I'll give you a copy when I'm finished. I guess you can just tell a momentum stock when you see it...it usually makes big % moves each day, and has some news, or a "story" which gets Wall Street exited.
The newest MO stock that's out there is ZE...I'm buying bigtime right after the first pullback. Why?, because for MO stocks, there are many people who missed the inital ride. After the first pullback, they're going to jump in, probably driving the price higher than the inital peak. I'll let you know when I get into ZE.

SHVA isn't really the best example of a momentum stock, because, it didn't get as much press as things like IOMG and USRX. Of course, compared to IOMG and USRX, nothing is a true momentum stock. I'll take some time before the hype really hits SHVA, but by that time, it will be alot higher than it is now. Even IOMG and USRX's runs began without too much hype. |
