Ron, < The dollar currently serves this mold, and T-Bills are the ultimate safe haven for holders
of dollars while other countries languish with huge debts and no one willing to loan or
invest the money to preserve their capital markets. >

This is exactly my point!T-Bills are Not the ultimate safe haven for holders of dollars. No fiat money is.The US may be the last corner of the world where people thought they HAD an honest government, but these days a very visible over.It seems no government on this earth has any interest to keep an honest financial system in place. It is very much easier to govern if you can 'buy' the people with their own effort.Just let the masses have what they want and presto, problem solved. In the olden days the common people and servs had to do 'fron' service to build all these fancy churches and edifices of mankind, which was more or less slavery. They did not know these fancy manipulations then what the governments use nowadays.Ah, we have modern times and we have fast printing machines, economist, lawyers and lying politicians to enslave the masses the painless way to pay for the moon shots, space programs and other like things which do the average person no good today.Only a guaranteed physical base like gold keeps an honest money system and prevents government and the minions who run it from cheating on their fellow man.
