bp, I don't own any Rambus, just lurk here because of interest in tech companies. I will throw a post in, like I said, if I can contribute something.
If Rambus is going to be flat for two or three quarters, what would push it back up over $100, e.g.? I do have to say that I am pretty leery of startups (no guts no glory), so don't listen to me. If Intel wants Rambus technology memory, though, well, what Intel wants, Intel gets.
Guessing when might be a safer time to jump in, I think I'll watch for progress on the Camino chipset. Best way to do that is to read the Intel thread, especially Paul Engel's posts. If we can learn when Camino is ready to run in a PIII with Rambus memory, say, a couple days to a week before, that would be ideal. Waiting for the news to hit the street would be too late.
Meandering,
