Auntie, While I am being embarrassing... A sage and scholar informed me the the original word was 'whence'. Derived from the Old English 'when once'...as in "Get thee back from when once ye came". Websters does have a 'hence' so I will still give points for the literary attempt....FWIW. Much better than colorful anatomical expression that are your usual clever expressions.
