Would it make any difference to you if God Himself looked you in the eye and told you that the bible was no more inherently divine than the Talmud, the Koran, the Kama Sutra, or the collected works of Bob Marley? Or that religious leaders throughout history have usually been self-aggrandizing manipulators, spinning myths to daunt the weak and gratify their own egos, ambitions, and worldly desires?
Would it make any difference in your life? Or would you assume that any God who does not confirm your prejudices is no God at all, and walk away?
