My source shows Reuters carried a positive release on AgCast very
late in the day, quite possibly near the close (1400+ hours), which
probably explains the jump in volume at the close (Reuter's
undoubtedly reaching many more heavy hitter investors than those of
the other wires services did in the morning, I saw 5 separate
releases all together).

Also ..... my colleage had a substantial day limit order in the mid
7$ range that filled in the last minutes of trading .... you might
"blame" him for the dip, but he is very bullish on this issue and
was looking for something agressive outside of the blue chip run-ups.
My experience is the quick dip and increase in volume is typical of
a positive news release - probable market manipulation and traders
capturing blocks etc. This listing is not one of the first 1000 NASDAQ
benifiting from the new SEC trading rules - so I guess we should
expect misbehavior until it gets watched a little closer. Also
possible options maneuvering. We'll have to wait and see, it might
get a little wild. Sometimes it takes a while for news to
propagate. I noticed $10 calls are cheap across the board.
