NYC Weather Warning for Wall Street at The Open & Today - icy roads, sleet to freezing rain changeover from snow all night now. My car is one solid block of ice. Traffic bad and public transportation delays. Schools closed again so, kids online & on phone could hinder local internet, network, and phone connections. Possible power outages from ice damages. Predictions say this will change to rain later today as the ice-cold temperatures rise and hover around freezing. This could affect the order-processing efficiency of the markets, especially the smaller markets utilizing live floortraders. My computer power backup just clicked as the lights dipped for the 6th time this last hour.
