Now, are you saying, then, that the CDMA celphones that will be directly connected to satellites (GLOBALSTAR), will be standard, handheld, CDMA phones, at least in size, or will they have to be larger, and more cumbersome, or whatever, or will they actually be confined to a "station", such as a car or house, or whatever, where more power / transmitting signal can be applied? At present, there are digital phones that are stationary units, seen in some people's homes and in some businesses, that "go direct". Do you see my point here? If it will be possible (virtually overnight) to be able to get FREE ROAMING from a hand-held unit because of these satelites and CDMA, this is a HUGE advancement.
