That's kind of a stretch, don't you think? In the first place, every on-line service admonishes their participants to guard their identities. In fact, on SI revealing personal information about a poster is grounds for suspension or termination. Second, just because Michael and Martin seem to be more ordinary names does not mean they are your actual names and, in some countries Angel Diaz would be considered an "ordinary name. :) Third, although for the most part this thread is void of personal threats and attacks, there are other threads where one's personal safety might be an issue. Having been involved in some of them, and since I post under one account, I choose to head the warnings published by the websites.
So, although you refer to paranoia, I choose to think of it as precautionary. The fact is, and it is a fact, that even with all the precautions, the president of the company managed to leave me a voice mail at my workplace. Do you think I need any more of that, from anybody on SI?

BTW, do you discount "zenker's" posts for the same reason?
