Alfredo hi! I appreciate and I can relate to your enthusiasm, but there is absolutely no reason right now to hurry and but money into TAR. Remember, at least Brazil has already gone thru / is going thru the deregulation of its telecom sector... Telefonica de Argentina will face that in November and I am sure they are prepared, however why take on another unknown at this point.

If you really want to play in Latin America you might as well stay with some of the babybras that you have mentioned and that Steve/others on this thread have touted. These prices are not beaten down on any internals as far as we can tell, just on a far greater slew of externals, irrational "in-exuberance".

This is chapter 3 of 6 as far as Brazil/LA go so right now those of us in the water are sharing it with the sharks and I am not quite sure they have left yet.

Bottom line is that, using your statement "numbers on Telefonica de Argentina do not look bad", trust all of us on this thread, the numbers on many of these 12 babybras (and TBH) look absolutely incredible especially at these unfathomally low prices. We have on the one end the extreme ludicrous high prices of the internet stocks and at the other end the extreme ludicrous low prices of some of these Brazil stocks. Go take a look at the financials and go figure. Absolutely will drive you crazy.
As one of the more eloquent members of this board put some time ago,
were are(were) in the wrong "Amazon".

Thanks,
