Second one made sense, Viterbi decoder's are
a mainstay in digital modems (non-computer).
Oddly, that's how I came to this point in time. I was
curious about it in satellite communications
and started researching it. That's how I came to
know who Dr. Viterbi and his marvelous math was,
leading me to QCOM about 3 years ago. Appears
they are expanding their component business. Little
black centipedes that do all kinds of weird stuff. Thanxs.
