I used work in the hog pit in Chicago as a quote taker. It was near Christmas, one the brokers gave everyone Jade Hog pins. It was a wild day, a couple of guys were little off, (I could tell who had a wild night before by looking in their eyes) The open went ok, (if you get past the open all right the rest day was normally ok) Then out of no-where a guy goes off on tangent (one of the red eye guys that had a wild night) trading out of range, some guys see it, other went numb, others went nuts, I had to stop it all, here I am all but 19, long hair, yelling at these guys who are beginning to look like hogs themselves, those jade pins where all over the trading floor by the end of the day broken. So happens in an open cry market too.
