Linda/All.....two observations about e-broker bottlenecks

1. It's not just the e-brokers. Almost every time I called my 'real' broker this week seeking service, I got serviced instead. Although I'm well up for the week (so far :-)), I 'lost' TONS because of delays.

2. The article cited in your post claimed that 20 percent of e-trades are made in first 30 minutes of market day (based apparently on yesterday's news). If true, there must be a way for active traders to take advantage. If anyone has a clue.....

Bonus thought.....buy networkers that move data. We are going to be 'forced' to do most business on-line in the future (witness Delta Airlines new rules on ticket prices announced yesterday.....now go to the Delta site and see how easy it is to make an informed choice for a trip you might be making in a few weeks.....be sure you have the best fare available from all airlines. Torture!).
