I added Broadcom to Jubak's Picks because I believe this stock has a chance to reward patient investors with the kind of stunning long-term performance turned in by a Dell or an EMC Corp. (EMC), stocks that gained 3,000% or more over the last three to five years. From that perspective, the kind of extreme volatility that Broadcom has shown in the last month isn't particularly important.
