If you wish to claim to know more about my own beliefs or a particular authors beliefs, than I or the author do, go right ahead. It is a riduculous statement, but go for it.

You can make assumptions about someones sincerity, you can choose to believe or not to believe it, but you can not guage or know for sure the reality of that sincerity. especially as it pertains to a particular book, which you have never read. Or as it pertains to the author of the same book.
