I keep wondering about the value of this stock based on what I see happening in the E-commerce areana every day. Here is a question for the bulls: Inktomi is releasing a product/service called "shopping engine" which will probably have thousands of merchants selling all kinds of products. Just like their search service, they will give it to anybody who wants it and anyone can build a front end for that. Will have comparative shopping features. AMZN has such a comparative shopping (Shop the Web) but I don't expect them to beat Inktomi knowing how technologically advanced Inktomi is. My question is: what do you think the impact of this are going to be? Just want to know what you guys think.
